IMAGE GALLERY - 2008 Proline 2.4 Hour Le Mans - April 26, 2008

The 2008 Proline 2.4 Hour Le Mans was held under near perfect conditions - which was a dramatic change to the recent stream of wet weather Penrith had experienced. With 15 teams ready to battle it out for 2 hours and 24 minutes, the track was ready on time allowing teams valuable practice time. This year was the milestone 5th year for the 2.4 Hour Le Mans, and once again Proline had come on board as title sponosor of the event, supplying every team a Proline Lola body. The teams on paper were fairly well matched, many teams posessed drivers that had attended all previous 2.4 Hour Le Mans events and although this was thought to be a great advantage, as is often the case, always expect the un-expected.

The 2008 Proline 2.4 Hour Le Mans went right down to the final minutes to record the closer finish ever to a PDNR endurance event, with only 9 laps separating the top 3 teams.
